I made a wish list many years ago. When my grandmother died, I felt pressure from my family to be strong and made a 20 wish list so I could focus on other things and not get depressed.
The number 20 has always been my favorite number, although not much of luck. The reason for the wish list was that, per day, I was going to fulfill a wish and after 20 days, it would give me the opportunity to cry for my grandma, as a reward.
The list was lost over time and I never found my journal where I wrote it. The things I wrote were more like challenges to do, like eating things that I had never tried or activities that I had not had the courage to do. I don't exactly remember all the items on the wish list but I do remember one or the other.
💖Eat a liter of lemon snow by myself
💖Finish reading a book in less than a day
💖White a song
I think previously, in a few years after the first one, I made the usual wish list for Christmas. But nothing that really stood out, just challenges or Christmas things that I'm not used to doing.
Now, in my present, I don't have a wish list. Over time some customs are forgotten and although they are somewhat fun, stop doing them. Now, remembering how I had fun and discovered new things, it motivates me to want and to try again.
💖Travel with my best friends
💖Camping in a forest
💖Climb a mountain
💖Sing in public
💖Making lasagna without help
💖Eat a whole chocolate cake
💖Get a tattoo with some important meaning
💖Paint my hair in blue
💖Get a tattoo together with my friends
💖Travel with my family
And now, all that remains is to do it and have fun in the process.
Hi Monica!!!! I agree, ¨have fun in the progress¨ because I think is more important because is longer
